SPECIAL BLENDZ, is a wonderful show band from Chester, PA performing Soul/Adult R&B/Motown/Oldies and Original music. The group features vocalists with beautiful harmonies and choreography, and instrumentalists with crisp, dynamic arrangements and great medleys. SPECIAL BLENDZ has been together since 1994 and released their first CD, “SOMETHING SPECIAL” (Cycles of Love), in 1999. The CD is receiving airplay in the United States, England and Japan, as well as many other countries. They are currently working on material for their Sophomore CD, as well as rehearsing two or three times a week for upcoming shows. If talent, hard work and sacrifice mean anything, SPECIAL BLENDZ will be around for a very long time!

SPECIAL BLENDZ covers the music of the great vocal groups from the 70's to present day, including The Temptations, The O'Jays, The Four Tops, The Whispers, The Stylistics, The Spinners, Maxwell and Brian McKnight. SPECIAL BLENDZ has appeared with top recording artists including Grover Washington, Jr., The Stylistics, Teena Marie, Joe, Jean Carne, Bill Bellamy, KC & the Sunshine Band, Billy Paul, Chubby Checker, Ray, Goodman and Brown (aka The Moments), The Delphonics, The Intruders and many others. Some of the group's memorable shows were playing for a Philadelphia 76er's season opening fundraiser, where they paid tribute to all of the great Philadelphia groups; playing for Mayor, (now Governor) Rendell's New Year's Eve Millennium Party at the Seaport Museum; playing for a week of VIP parties at Harrah's Casino in Kansas City, MO: headlining at the Pat Garrett Amphitheater in Strausstown, PA, performing for Mayor Reed's Celebration of Unity Gala in Harrisburg, PA, performing for Representative Dwight Evan's New Year's Eve Gala at the Hyatt at Penn's Landing and playing at the American Music Festival on the banks of the beautiful Susquehanna River!
